I was sitting in my room talking on the internet with a really weird looking AOL screen. I started talking to a man and I apparently made him mad. He claimed he knew my address and that he was going to come and hurt me and my family. I became very afraid and shut off the computer when someone ran into my room to tell me there was a strange angry-looking man standing in our driveway. I got very scared and ran out of my room. When I got to the top of the stairway I thought, "Wait, this isn't real. It has to be a dream!" I tried to control my excitement because I didn't want to startle myself awake. I went downstairs and and the crazy man was standing in my living room. I look at him and laugh, then say, "You can't hurt me, this is my dream!" I point at him and he turns into a swarm of butterflies and flies off!
I then "wake up" and I find myself sleeping in the middle of my den
floor. I turn to my parents who are sitting in two recliners and say, "I just
had my first lucid dream!" They say, "That's great!" but I realize things are
not normal, and I think, "I am still dreaming!" Realizing this for the second
time made me wake up.
Erin's Interpretation
I've been studying techniques on how to become lucid in dreams (I've kept a
dream journal for quite a while now and my dream recall rate is really high).
Last night I finally had my first lucid experience! |
