| Missing Element Catherine student, High School Texas March 1999
Shannon, Joey, and I are at the school. There has been mass killing sprees by this creature. We know we can kill him but we're missing our fourth link. Shannon-wind; Joey-fire; me-water, but we had no earth. We decide to try anyway. The creature's on the practice field, and we're coming from Baroshe's. We can see it. It can see us. Shannon's confused; I'm not. I'm calm, eerily calm, and it scares me that I'm not afraid. We go to it; it attacks. We beat it; we've won. We leave. It's a part of us now. The evil lives on. It's followers come. They want to bring it back to life and we know they can unless we find our fourth to make us one. We have until sunset. We can't find him. The sun is setting and when the creature is alive again, we'll perish for doing what we knew we couldn't do. We couldn't be one without the fourth and we couldn't beat the evil without being whole. The sun sets. I wake up.
Dreamer's interpretation: A struggle between good and evil involving all of the elements--earth, wind, fire, and water. |
